From Prague: Kutna Hora and Bone Chapel Tour

1.Kutna Hora and Bone Chapel Tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 327 reviews · 7 hours Our pick

Visit Kutná Hora from Prague, from the eerie Sedlec Ossuary to St. Barbara’s Church, with transport, history, and a live guide.

“I highly recommend this tour. Kunta Hora is known for this unique ‘bone chapel,’ but there is so much beauty in the town a well. I’m glad I had the opportunity to not only see the chapel, but other highlights, such as a beautiful cathedral that is undergoing restoration. The countryside is wonderful and we had an opportunity to go around the little shops and restaurants of the town. This place is only about a 45 minute train ride from Prague and worth a day trip if you are in the area for several days.”

2.Kutná Hora, St Barbara’s Cathedral and Bone Church

★★★★★★★★★★4.3 · 143 reviews · 6h 30m · from $76

Visit Kutná Hora from Prague for the bone-filled Sedlec Ossuary, St. Barbara’s Cathedral, medieval streets, and free town time.

“The trip was very good. Of course the Sedlec Ossuary was the highlight (too bad pictures are not allowed because of disrespectful abuse on social media), but the other sites were very beautiful and interesting too. However the highlight of the trip was our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history, good humor, and a surprisingly great singing voice that we got to hear when he gave an impromptu demonstration of the acoustics in the Corpus Cristi Chapel. Beautiful!! And he also plays a good flute, cleverly used to heard his sheep. 😁😁 Was a very pleasant day, highly recommended.”

3.Kutna Hora Walking Tour & St. Barbara Cathedral

★★★★★★★★★★3.4 · 53 reviews · 5 hours · from $53Best value

Review of the five-hour Kutna Hora tour from Prague, including St. Barbara Cathedral, Sedlec Ossuary, transport, value, and practical drawbacks.

“There is nothing to like about this tour experience. 1.) First hour starting from Prague, the air conditioner in the bus was off. I sent an email to the tour provider to complain while I and fellow tour passengers were in the bus. Did my email prompted the tour operator contact our tour guide or the tour driver to turn in the bus air conditioner? So it seems because approximately ten minutes after I sent the email, the driver turned on the air conditioner. 2.) While on the walking tour, we could not hear the tour guide. 3.) Only one toilet break was provided. 4.) No chance to buy food…”
